We are pleased to announce that again this year members of The National Club have occasional private golf club privileges during the season of May through November 2024 at a selection of more than 25 GTA and surrounding area private golf clubs through our affiliation with Global Club Services.

The Scarboro Golf & Country Club

Host club guest green fees will be applicable, and you will be able to sign your charges back to your National Club account at many of the participating golf clubs.

Foursomes are usually required, and you may include up to three guests in your foursome.  You may play golf a maximum of three times at each participating PrivateClubConnect (PCC) club during the year, so there will be plenty of golfing opportunities for our members.

Private golf club lessons with a Teaching Golf Professional will also be available to our members at several of the private golf clubs.

Privileged access to other types of private clubs in cities across Canada may also be requested through Global Club Services.

Other than your own charges (green fees, power cart rentals, Pro Shop purchases, food and beverage charges) at private clubs that you visit, there is no cost for our members for this service, which is an added-benefit of your membership in The National Club.

For further information regarding specific private clubs and tee-time availability, please contact Bob Leyhane at Global Club Services at: (905) 338-2274 or email Bob at [email protected]

Rules of snooker
Snooker is a cue sport that is played on a baize-covered table with pockets in each of the four corners and in the middle of each of the long side cushions. It is played using a cue and snooker balls: one white cue ball, 15 red balls worth one point each (sometimes played with fewer red balls, commonly 6 or 10), and six balls of different colours: yellow (2 points), green (3), brown (4), blue (5), pink (6), black (7).[1] A player (or team) wins a frame (individual game) of snooker by scoring more points than the opponent(s), using the cue ball to pot the red and coloured balls. A player (or team) wins a match when they have achieved the best-of score from a pre-determined number of frames. The number of frames is always odd so as to prevent a tie or a draw. To Download all the RULES Click Here
